Paper 1 Examination 2024 Admit card/Status
Staff Selection Commission has released the admit card/status of SSC Junior Engineer JE Civil, (Mechanical & Electrical) Paper 1, 2024. SSC Junior Engineer JE Civil Examination is being conducted from 5th to 7th June 2024. Paper 1 is being held for a total of 968 posts. Online applications were accepted by the Commission from 28 March,2024 to 18 April,2024. Candidates can download their SSC JE admit card from the official website https://ssc.nic.in/Portal/AdmitCard .
The purpose of SSC JE is that this recruitment has been done from various branches like civil mechanical, electrical etc. in Border Roads Organization, Central Water Commission, etc. The selected candidate has been given the pay matric ( Rs 35,400 – 1,12,400/-) in the 7th pay Commission.

| Selection Process |
The candidate will have to appear in two papers in this recruitment, Paper 1 & Paper 2. Admit card will be issued separately to each other. This will be through a Computer Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted at various centers across the country. After this there will be document verification stage of selected candidates. The candidate must bring all his/her documents with him/her at this stage.

- The examination will be conducted in two papers which include, Paper 1 and Paper 2
- There will be a total of 200 questions in Paper 1, each question will be of 1 mark. This will be a total paper of 200 marks.
- Paper 2 will have total 100 questions and each question will be of 3 marks, totaling 300 marks.
- The time of each paper will be only 2 hours.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Candidates appearing for SSC JE are required to download and print their admit card and carry at least two copies to the examination Centre. Details of exam time, exam date, exam center etc. will be mentioned on the admit card. Check it carefully. Apart from this, carefully check the complete details of the candidate like name, gender, roll number, date of birth, category etc., if any wrong information is found then you should immediately contact the examination authority.
