Indian Air Force IAF has released AFCAT 2 notification on 20 May 2024. Recruitment has been taken out for 304 posts in this.
Online registration for AFCAT 2 2024 has started from 30 May 2024 and the last date for registration has been kept as 28 June 2024.
Its course will be started in July 2025. AFCAT 2 2024 notification has been issued on 20 May for recruitment to a total of 304 posts of flying and ground duty in AFCAT 2 2024. AFCAT 2 exam will be conducted on 9,10 and 11 August 2024.

Indian Air Force has started online registration for 304 posts through Common Admission Test (AFCAT). In this, online applications can be made for Group ‘A’ in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches from 30 May 2024 to 28 June 2024.

- Application fee will be exempted for NCC candidates.

- Pay scale as per defense matrix : Rs 56100/- To 177500/-
- Military service pay : Rs 15500/- per month.

| How to apply online form for AFCAT 2 2024 |
- First of all you have to go to official website https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ of AFCAT.
- If you are a new user then you have to click on register.
- To register, enter your mobile number and Email ID.
- Submit mobile OTP and Email OTP.
- You will receive your login ID and password through the SMS and Email.
After this you come to the second stage;
- Now login with the registered number and password sent.
- Select your post for which you are applying.
- Fill all the required details carefully,
- Pay the examination fee through the debit card/credit card/net banking.
- Upload the scanned copy of your photo and sign.
- Upload all the required certificates.
- Read the application form carefully and submit it.
- After this take a print out of it.
| Educational Qualification |
- Flying Branch: Candidate must have at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics in class 12th.

- Apart from this, the candidate must have a graduation degree with at least 60% marks.

- Ground Duty ( technical ) branch : Candidate must have passed at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics in class 12th.

- Also must have B.Tech. degree with at least 60% marks of AICTE recognized institute.

- Ground Duty ( non-technical ) branch : Candidate must have graduation degree with minimum 60% marks from any university/institute in recognized by UGC.

- Candidate age limit for both Flying and Ground Duty ( technical and non-technical : 20 to 24 years
- Candidate must be born in between the 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2005.
| AFCAT 2 2024 Exam pattern |
AFCAT 2 2024 exam pattern will consist of four sections;
- General Awareness
- Verbal Ability of English
- Numerical Ability and Reasoning
- Military Aptitude Test.
there will be total 100 questions in the exam. Each question will be carry 3 marks and there a total marks 100. Total time of exam will be two hours.

- For every correct answer, the candidate will get 3 marks
- One mark will be deducted every wrong answer.
- Also, no mark will be allotted for un-attempted questions.
